“A Beautiful Mountain View”
Reviewed February 5, 2013

We had a wonderful weekend at Riverdance. We enjoyed meeting our hosts, Callie and Dave, as well as the other guests. We loved the suite, the delicious breakfasts in the morning, as well as the beautiful view of the mountains and river below. The bed was very comfortable. We had our own bathroom as well as a full refrigerator and microwave available. We were visiting other friends in the area and were in awe of the beauty of the mountains while hiking and sight seeing throughout the area. We would love to return to Riverdance again in the future.

I cannot speak highly enough of the lodge at River Dance. We had a perfect weekend of picturesque snow falling in the mountains, and with the numerous decks and fireplaces, there were no shortage of places to rest comfortably and enjoy the view. Our hosts were incredibly kind and provided us with the perfect amount of privacy and hospitality. Callie and Dave were incredibly thoughtful regarding the snow and traveling up the mountain was no cause for concern because of their preparedness. From the small details like fresh towels and complimentary snack baskets to the excellent breakfast and company, our stay was memorable and encouraged us to certainly return.

Room Tip: There are a variety of rooms with different sizes and amenities. I would suggest speaking with Calli...

My wife and I wanted to escape to the mountains to celebrate our one-year anniversary. We picked the PERFECT retreat: RiverDance Bed & Breakfast. It manages to combine the best aspects of convenience with solitude. It is a private, GORGEOUS timber-built house at the top of a mountain overlooking a river, but it's located in a very nice, gated mountain community that is 10 minutes from great hiking, rafting, fishing, spas/hot springs, grocery stores, and shopping/restaurants. RiverDance is the perfect place to unplug, but the high-speed internet access, huge kitchen, and hot tub means there need be no sacrifice of luxury, comfort, or amenities while unplugging. Callie and Dave are wonderful hosts who immediately felt more like our friends than hosts. I really can't say enough good things about RiverDance or Callie and Dave: all I can do is emphatically suggest that you stay here yourself--you will be thrilled that you did so.

Room Tip: There are two suites (one on the third floor, one on the first floor), and both are spectacular.

Callie, Dave and Midge were super! Their home is a getaway must for any couple needing a "time out". We spent a weekend with them and are looking forward to a return visit hopefully this year.
Their home is so inviting and sits on a premier lot over looking the horse shoe of the river! The relaxing sound of the river was wonderful and watching the sunrise over the mountain with a cup of coffee on the spacious deck was perfect. Callie and Dave were great to give us information about the surrounding areas and just treated us like family.
This was our first experience at a bed and breakfast and I must say Callie and Dave have set the bar high for any future places we might stay at!

My fiancee and I stayed there last summer while I was 7 months pregnant and we had an amazing time. The B&B was so relaxing and had warm and fuzzy vibes. We woke up to a healthy homemade breakfast and gorgeous view every morning. There were beautiful trails on the property and a variety of outdoor activites nearby like caving, fishing and rafting. Callie, her husband and Midge were wonderful hosts. We can't wait to go back, this place is a total gem :)

The house is warm, inviting, spacious and comfortable. The hosts (Callie and Dave) were delightful--it's clear they genuinely enjoy sharing their home with travelers. The view is spectacular, in fact the only thing better than looking down on the river-bend from the beautiful patio is looking down on the river-bend from the hot-tub!

Keep in mind when booking that this is not a hotel, it is a home and you should come prepared to be treated as a new friend rather than a anonymous guest. (The vibe is more bed and breakfast than hotel.) That said, there is a downstairs level for anyone who wants more privacy, but seeing as I wasn't there on a romantic getaway but rather a company retreat I very much enjoyed their hospitality and the companionship of their dog Midge.

If you're looking for small town hospitality with majestic mountain views, you need look no further than RiverDance.

Room Tip: If you want privacy, you should ask to be lodged downstairs.

The inn is beautiful, The location is spectacular. The view of the river is amazing. The hot tub was just magical to watch the sunrise over the river and mountains on the crisp, chilly January morning. Our hosts, Callie and Dave were wonderfully attentive to our needs and made excellent company. It was a great place for our yearly leadership meeting.

Room Tip: The room on the bottom level, towards the back had a SUPERB view of the river and morning sunrise!
