My fiancee and I stayed there last summer while I was 7 months pregnant and we had an amazing time. The B&B was so relaxing and had warm and fuzzy vibes. We woke up to a healthy homemade breakfast and gorgeous view every morning. There were beautiful trails on the property and a variety of outdoor activites nearby like caving, fishing and rafting. Callie, her husband and Midge were wonderful hosts. We can't wait to go back, this place is a total gem :)

The house is warm, inviting, spacious and comfortable. The hosts (Callie and Dave) were delightful--it's clear they genuinely enjoy sharing their home with travelers. The view is spectacular, in fact the only thing better than looking down on the river-bend from the beautiful patio is looking down on the river-bend from the hot-tub!

Keep in mind when booking that this is not a hotel, it is a home and you should come prepared to be treated as a new friend rather than a anonymous guest. (The vibe is more bed and breakfast than hotel.) That said, there is a downstairs level for anyone who wants more privacy, but seeing as I wasn't there on a romantic getaway but rather a company retreat I very much enjoyed their hospitality and the companionship of their dog Midge.

If you're looking for small town hospitality with majestic mountain views, you need look no further than RiverDance.

Room Tip: If you want privacy, you should ask to be lodged downstairs.

The inn is beautiful, The location is spectacular. The view of the river is amazing. The hot tub was just magical to watch the sunrise over the river and mountains on the crisp, chilly January morning. Our hosts, Callie and Dave were wonderfully attentive to our needs and made excellent company. It was a great place for our yearly leadership meeting.

Room Tip: The room on the bottom level, towards the back had a SUPERB view of the river and morning sunrise!

Staying at River Dance was just the experience we needed for our business retreat. Callie and Dave were very welcoming and were very responsive to any thing we needed. The house was beautiful and the views were incredible. I felt like we had privacy when we needed it, but also enjoyed Callie and Dave's company when in the common areas. I hope to go back many times!

If you are looking to have a unique experience like the Inns of old, then Riverdance is your place. It's magic! It is tucked away in Hot Springs. I loved that no one could reach me, I was on a weekend getaway after all. We heeded the warning of lack of cell/GPS coverage, printed maps before we left and found the place without any problem. Sometimes it pays to think and you are richly rewarded with a stunning view and a roaring river below.

Dave and Callie are your Inn Keepers and they are such a delight. The accommodations are extremely clean featuring a beautiful timber frame home, wide wrap around porches and a private hot tub tucked away on its own platform overlooking the majestic river; Lonely Mountain peers from the distance and an outside fireplace keeps you warm on cold nights as you take in the stars from the deck.

As a person who enjoys the romance and narrative of retreat getaways, Dave and Callie welcome you with open arms, get you acquainted with the full kitchen on the second floor and tuck you in at night - just like the Inn keepers from years past.

RiverDance delivers on its promises. You have to experience it for yourself!

Room Tip: I liked the second top level suites as they where open and big. The bottom suite is very private wit...

Relaxing stay in wonderful setting. Spectacular view from the deck - mountain peaks across a valley that features a winding river right below. Comfortable bed. Callie and Dave were gracious, warm, and accommodating. Lots of great side trips can be made from here.

We had the pleasure of experiencing Christmas night at River Dance, on our way to Tennessee the next day. Wish we had had more time to stay longer!!!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous views and amazing hospitality. The Wellendorfs greeted us warmly and we felt right at home with great music playing and the Christmas spirit in the air. Their beautifully decorated home was comfortable and well appointed for guests. Didn't get a chance to try out the hot tub, but others there did. It 's in a perfect spot - tucked in a corner with an amazing view of the mountains. Stuffed ourselves the next morning with a delicious breakfast of quiche and breakfast pastries. Will definitely plan on going back and telling others!

Room Tip: All of the rooms appear to have their own distinct charm. Ours (2nd floor with the queen bed) had a...
