The hotel in a lovely building full of character and charm. Its situated just on the edge of Hot Springs, and a short walk takes you to the middle of the town, which has several bars and restaurants for such a small place.
Our room was huge, beautifully furnished with with a small balcony, overlooking the garden. Breakfast was home cooked, and absolutely delicious. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful, We would highly recommend staying at the Magnolia.

Pete was incredibly hospitable!! The main Inn is beautiful and their property by the river was amazing. I would definitely stay there again. Great for a family or a romantic get-away. The breakfast is included and is all "Home Made Cookin". The Strawberry Pancakes were amazing!!

Room Tip: The Birds Nest has an amazing view of the river from both the living room and family room windows al...

Mountain Magnolia Inn was the venue for our daughter's wedding August 3, 2013. It was a beautiful setting. The wedding was small but everyone who attended was impressed and enjoyed the surroundings. The staff was helpful and the rooms were very comfortable. My husband and I along with our son's family stayed in the The Garden House which was great because it was close to the Inn and nice and big. Enjoyed the great food served at breakfast.
The Staff, Wedding Coordinator, the Bakery, the Florist, and the Photographer provided everything that my daughter had requested. This takes pressure from everyone since you
are communicating through e-mails. Could not have ask for a more cooperative group of vendors. I hope to return and enjoy the Inn during the Spring or Fall sometime. Helen Nichols

We had a wonderful weekend at Mountain Magnolia Inn while attending Wild Goose Festival 2013. The grounds are beautiful. The Sycamore Room was comfortable. I especially enjoyed watching the swarms of butterflies. The only thing better than the rack of lamb was the homemade ice cream served with the fruit tart.

Room Tip: Next time we will pick a room with a balcony. The mountains are beautiful.

My husband and I chose Mountain Magnolia Inn for our wedding in April 2013, and it was the best choice I made after saying "yes" to his proposal.

Our wedding coordinator was accessible and kind, and really listened to our needs for the wedding. The rooms were beautiful and well-appointed, and everything in the inn and grounds felt authentic and comfortable.

The inn-keepers did an amazing job making us feel welcome and helping our special day be perfect.

The food was amazing and the service was equally matched. After spending the day in the nearby spring, it was great to come back to inn and just relax on the hammocks and take in the most perfect view. The inn is located behind the small main street, with great restaurants and a general store for odds and ends.

One of the best part of our wedding package was our photographer. Sarah met with my Maid of Honor a few hours before the wedding, and helped with all the last minute details of my dress, hair, and makeup. The pictures she captured will last a lifetime, and she went above and beyond to make our little wedding party enjoy every moment of the ceremony.

The entire team of the Inn is exquisite, with unmatched kindness, professionalism, hospitality, and service. The Inn has become part of our wedding story, and we look forward to returning year after year for the beautiful mountains, springs, and service.

I will always enjoy and cherish our time at the Inn.

Mountain Magnolia Inn is a b&b that also offers some offsite rooms in the small town of Hot Springs, NC. My husband and I chose a $100 room called the Hideaway located within a mile or so of the b&b because it offered a private, small outdoor seating area. For those who like to walk, the room was actually within walking distance of the b&b, which we chose to do that evening as we strolled through the little town of Hot Springs.

The Hideaway room is actually a private-entranced room in a retrofitted, creek-side house where there are one or two other apartments offered for rent. Our room was exactly what we wanted: a cool, dark, quiet place to sleep, a clean working shower, and a place to sit outdoors in privacy. The icing on the cake was the stream upon which the house sat and a small in-room refrigerator.

The room is a little funky due to the fact that the house has been retrofitted into separate apartments. The bathroom (sink, toilet, and shower) sit atop a platform arrangement so you need to climb one or two steps to get access. This was not a problem for us, but for some be forewarned. The room's door can be accessed off of a seldom traveled lane or from steps below where parking is available. The small window air conditioner was adequate and the room was dark for sleeping. There was one upholstered chair in the room sufficient for our use. A wide door offers an expanded view and access the to deck-patio; it is also screened, which allows for natural ventilation if you prefer no air conditioner.

Free breakfast is offered back at the b&b in a glorious pastoral setting. A full hot breakfast was served on the veranda with an expansive view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The service offered by the owners was prompt and gracious and the grounds were available for strolling. It was a delightful way to begin a morning.

We were budget conscious on this part of our 2-week-long vacation, but had we wanted to spend a bit more money, staying in the b&b would not have disappointed I'm quite sure. On select nights with reservations, a gourmet dinner is offered. Disappointingly, we were there on a Tuesday when dinner is not available.

I highly recommend The Hideaway if you're in this part of the country to explore nature (as you should be); you are plunked down in the middle of trees, birds, and the sound of water. If you want a room to hang out in, this would not be a good choice for you--although the deck-patio attached to the room is quite nice for meditating and reading.

We had a wonderful time staying at the Inn. This was one of the Best Bed & Breakfast we have stayed at. When we checked in we were upgraded to a larger room, very nice surprise! We were offered fresh coffee which was nice after the long drive. The spa bag was great to take with us to the hot springs. The Town and hot spring spa was within walking distance. In the evening we had an excellent dessert out on the porch. Breakfast was so fresh and everything you possible could ask for. We are planning to go back. Thank You for our great stay.
