Drove 14 hours to go to Chason's (& visit friends on the way to the beach). Plenty of parking - even with a huge camper attached to our truck. Being from Buffalo, NY - I love eating there. One of the waitresses actually had family 20 min from where we live! Food was hot, fresh & delicious. Service is excellent. All in all another great visit - already looking forward to our next!

All vegetables were very salty. Fried chicken - okay, fish - over cooked, other meats were not good. Pulled pork was very tough - probably from being cooked to fast. Certainly not quality of the old Chason's in Lumber Bridge.

We traveled about 1 hour 45 minutes to eat at this buffet restaurant and it is so worth the drive! The southern style cooking is amazingly delicious but it is impossible to try a bite of everything so you must return to try it again! The only thing that was not palatable was the fried fatback strips--they were so hard you could not chew or eat them--not crispy and easy to eat. If they improve that item it would be 100% perfect buffet. Also the vegetable soup needs more flavor--a little bland in flavor. the fried chicken, barbecue, meatloaf, shrimp, and veggies were superb. I did not try the salad bar or dessert bar as no room. I am planning my next visit in the future!!

We go to Grandson's for convenience, when we don't feel like cooking and driving all the way to Fayetteville. There is plenty of food, the people and service are good. The quality of the food is average, with some items seeming to come out of a can. Not much variety. Seems to be a popular place all week long though.

It is extremely rare that I would give a buffet such high marks as food quality is never as good. However, this place is great. It is basically the same type of food you would find at a golden corral except this food actually tastes good. The pricing is extremely reasonable, my 3 year old son was free and they have a military discount. I will be returning to this restaurant again soon.
