“Wolfgang's---Worthy of All the Love.”

Just can't say enough good things about Wolfgang's. We never miss eating here whenever we visit lovely western North Carolina, and the Highlands, in particular. You can always count on having a delicious and delightful meal at W.G.'s. On out most recent trip we sampled six different appetizers....all interesting and scrumptious. The piece de resistance of this visit was the delectable chocolate cake which we specifically saved room for.....it did, indeed, live up to the name "dessert." Not too heavy, nor too sweet, not too over-the-top......the perfect finishing touch. We loved it so much that we called and ordered two slices to go a few nights later when we'd planned to grill out after a long hike and wanted something extra special. They were so nice and accommodating. They treat both their return customers and their first-time diners like they're old friends. And, by the way, Wolfgang's wine list is quite lovely, as well.

“You can always count on Wolfgang's.”
Reviewed July 30, 2013 via mobile

We have eaten here 8 times in the last 4 years. The service has usually been mediocre but the quality of the food has always been very, very good. The specials and signature dishes are excellent. Get the short ribs...delicious! The sommelier is also very knowledgeable. And the chocolate cake is a must have!!

“Very delightful!!”

We loved this place. Staff was great and just down the street from Highlands Inn and we could walk. We sat in the bistro and had drinks. Bistro Special was a Pizzetta with Goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes. Great little app with drinks before dinner. The NY strip was amazing!

“Can't go wrong in the Highlands”
Reviewed July 28, 2013

The food, wine and service at Wolfgang's was wonderful. We love walking the town and stopping to eat. The grouper was excellent!

The Bistro is in the first section of the building and is
a bar and tapas type of meal beginning at 4 p.m.
I think you can order from the main menu and still
eat in the front section if you'd like. We enjoyed the
whole dinning experience.
