The atmosphere was both romantic and hip. Seemed to be a very "happening" place. Food was excellent. Cozy atmosphere.

We just had a 14 person 4 course wedding rehersal dinner at Wolfgangs at the end of October. It was an outstanding meal and night. I had communicated with the owner of Wolfgangs (Mindy Green) during the 7-8 months prior to the meal and it made for a perfect experience. The people at the dinner could have not been more complimentary of the food and service. The lobster and shrimp bisque was the one of the best soups I have ever had the pleasure of tasting. The two entrees - snapper or veal medallions were excellent and the presentation of every course was outstanding. The wine steward Annalize must most helpful as were the waiters and waitresses.I highly reccommend this restaurant and will be back again the next time I am in Highlands.

My husband and I stopped I with no reservations! Robbie Lang said if we can eat dinner in 70minutes we could be seated. The table was reserved. We said no problem , not only was the food fabulous so was our service with Lauren our server! We will be back thank you, Robbie I understand that was an exception because it was early and the server load lighter!

Had to return to this remarkable restaurant as I have heard such glowing reports as to how Halloween should be celebrated in Highlands North Carolina.
One word "Incredible"
As the town opened its Main Street to the smaller Ghosts and Goblins, inside Wolfgangs it was all about the inner child in all of us. This place was jumping! Chef and his wife Mindy Green pulled out all the stops, decorations all over, costumes on the entire staff, some pretty spectacular, and a full house of patrons all dressed to kill, after all it was Halloween! The bar was keep in perfect running order thru the seasoned endeavors of master bar keep Richard, who never missed a beat. While at the dining tables, the wine captain, Annalize, keep the wines flowing with grace and a knowledge of her graft that would make a nun blush. Oh Yea, there were a couple of nuns in the house. Book a table now for next year, you do not want to be left outside in the cold! Enjoy!!

Halloween in Highlands is a special night and there's no place better to enjoy it than the Wine Bistro at Wolfgang's! Start early about 4 with an antipasta platter, excellent pinot and then the party begins. Costumes on everybody including the pups. Short ribs at 6:30 with Elizabeth Spencer cab. Always a fun spot with great food.
