This restaurant is a must do while you are visiting Highlands. The menu is not extensive, but is varied to include seafood, mountain trout, pasta, beef, chicken and pork. The lentil mushroom soup was absolutely delicious and the trout was the best ever. Our party also had the pork chop and chicken entrees. The meals were prepared in a reasonable amount of time and the service was excellent. Ask for Mama Deb, who is a fixture and will provide straight talk on specials and menu selections. Prices are reasonable for the quality and portions are generous. Make this your first in Highlands and you will want to return often.

Great location so gets very busy, make reservations in advance. Live music in the courtyard outside the outdoor seating area on Fri. Nights. Cute shop called potpourri next door with very reasonable prices on cute clothes. The atmosphere indoors for dinner was very romantic and the food was amazing. I had grouper and my husband had steak. Seasoned perfectly, presentation was good. The waitress was professional. A little mix up on the wine we ordered. We ordered a Burgundy believing we were getting the red wine. To our surprise it was a white wine from the Burgundy region. When we asked the waitress about this she did not offer to bring us a red wine, not sure who messed up here, us or her. The food was great so we just had the white wine and enjoyed the meal. Be careful with your wine selection, my husband is not really sure what happened there if he read it wrong or she messed up. This has never happened to us in wine selection anywhere.

We have been here multiple times. I always like a seat on the outside patio. Food is very good. We have tried many dishes and they are all great!

My husband and I discovered Wild Thyme several years ago and make a point to go every visit to Highlands! The food is so delicious and the restaurant is beautiful with both indoor and outdoor seating right in the heart of downtown. The service has always been excellent as well. Try the salmon BLT and get the cold rice as a side instead of chips. It has daily specials and a beautiful bar area too!! So yummy!!!

We ate on the patio in the courtyard which was truly entertaining with all the dogs in town and the friendly staff taking care of the pets as well as the people. Our Lunch was good. The Swordfish sandwich probably one of the best ever and the side rice was uniquely delicious. The Greek salad chicken wrap needed to better distributed since every bite was either lettuce or chicken never got the flavors together! This would be a go back to for lunch.
