We stopped here after visiting the Bascom garden show. Service was attentive and nonobtrusive. Had a delicious lobster+crab cake on top of a house salad ($20). I also liked that the restaurant is a strong supporter of the American Cancer Society (selling bracelets and bookmarks on behalf of the ACS). Also, the decorations (including a jazz-playing cat and a sassy chicken sculpture) were delightful.

Had my first nuts & seeds salad. Very different and wonderful. The price was also right. Good place for lunch and the service was very good. The boss / chef stops by to ask you how you like the food and service. Good touch! If we are back in town, would stop back in to try another tasty treat.

Not fancy, but good food.....VERY friendly staff......Try their Black Bean Burger, any of the wraps and fries made with Yukon Gold potatoes.....Must get the Fresser Fries, which are thinly sliced potatoes lightly fried into chips... good starter. Servings are plenty - big enough, yet not too much......on a hot day (or not), the ice tea is very good....give them a try...most tourists stay on Main Street, which makes for lines and waits; Fressers is on street off Main (Helen's Barn Avenue) - a short walk for good food and a relaxing atmosphere.

This is a real find. It is off main street in Highlands and the food is really fresh and well prepared. It is a favorite of the locals as well. Was recently told they need to beef up the service a little - so don't be in a real hurry.

I don't understand why there have not been more people dining at Feessers when we have been there. The food is excellent & the owner/chef very accommodating. Bread pudding is to die for!
