I own a home very near Old Edwards, and its a good thing!! Here's why:
Nothing beats lunch in the wine garden--transport to Europe. Many of the servers are lovely young hospitality students. Having visited the OEI farm, I can attest the organic salad is utterly fresh! Next door, Acorns, is a fabulous place to buy hostess gifts that are packaged beautifully for all budgets! Same goes for the beautiful ladies things upstairs.
Make sure to visit Hummingbird Lounge, with Cy Timmons in the evenings. In summer, the rooftop terrace is also great for drinks and snacks.
Arts at the Lodge is great for coffee, drinks and more light bites. (overseen by Bill).
And finally.........A trip down the chocolate hall to the spa is passage to nirvana. Make time for a ginger pear tea before a cozy fire. I live in Atlanta, but choose to get my hair done in the Salon. Michael is the best--not just at hair but makeup also! The salon has a beautiful adjacent courtyard to relax on lounge chairs.
check out Old Edwards, wherever you visit Highlands!
