Driving by and pulled in - good choice. The brisket sandwich was incredible. Server suggested bacon on it; thank you! Had the sampler starter - ribs, wings, fried pickles and cheese sticks. All were very good. I almost ordered more wings, good smoke flavor. My wife had the pulled pork - tender and good flavor. Great service today too. Three kids with us and they all found something the wanted and all liked it - that's a minor miracle.

If you are in the mood for really good BBQ, this is the place to go. Friendly staff, really wonderful food, seriously large portions, and very reasonably priced for Highlands, this is one of our favorites!

The staff was friendly, obviously understaffed and stressed but doing their best to keep up, and when we eventually got our food, it was horrible. Did not have the heart to complain to our obviously over worked server, everything was over cooked, and under seasoned.

We always enjoy a really good and laid back meal here. Great ribs, brisket and pulled pork with several choices of sauces on the table. Don't miss the collard greens or the mac and cheese. Great draft beer selection, too.

The BBQ was delicious. We went for lunch and loved it. Very busy with lots of locals as well as visitors.
