The best falls in the area. You can walk underneath and get great photos. The path is paved. It is a very romantic stopping place on the way to Franklin.

Easy walk to a wonderful fall! Remember the scene behind the waterfall in "Last of the Mohicans"? Well, you, too, and kiss your sweetie behind the fall! Bring a rain jacket, though - the mist will get you . . .

This is a very nice waterfall for folks who do not have the time or stamina to take one of many 2-6 mile hikes in the Highlands area to spectacular falls where the views take time and hiking effort. But Dry Falls is still beautiful, and not everyone can do medium or big hikes. This works for families with young children, physically challenged folks, and others who just want a nice stop on the hairpin road up to Highlands. And it's a nice Falls, because you can walk under it, sheltered by an overhang, without getting wet. Thus, "Dry Falls"

This site is right by the road. You can stop and walk down the walk way to the falls. No hiking involved. The falls are impressive and it is neat that you can walk behind them.

The awesome beauty of the Falls was breathtaking. Quite a hike down and back up but well worth it. I wonder at the name, however, "Dry" ? A little history marker would have been nice located at the visitor's center.
