Don't dismiss this place. For the area, it is very well done, educational and enjoyable. The exhibition area showcases the local fauna and flora. There are several trails that provide a very relaxing nature walk.

Various programs provided by an energetic staff.

Give it a visit.

This is worth the stop if you have time- interesting to see the facts about the area and take a stroll through it. Plus it is free. It is right next to Sunset Rock, so we left and drove up there - fantastic view of the city.

We took our young grandchildren there & they enjoyed it! Our son & daughter-in-law returned with their kiddies & took them on some neat hiking trails on the property there. Everyone had a wonderful time!

A wide variety is offered from Thursday night lectures on local interest subjects to special childrens' programs. Walk through the botanical gardens at your leisure and learn about native plants, what attracts butterflies and Native American uses.
