“Wonderful Wedding in Highlands”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Our son- Stephen got married to his beautiful fiancee- Meredith- on April 26th at The Old Edwards Inn and Spa. It was a gorgeous wedding on a magnificent sunny day. Under the direction of Brian Crook and Taylor, Old Edwards Inn and Spa did an incredible job. On Saturday night, we culminated the wedding celebration with a fabulous dinner at Paolettis. The food was as good as it gets; it could have been one of the best meals I have ever had in a restaurant- if not the the best. It is much superior than the N.Y.C. fluff.
Being Italian and having a mother that was an excellent cook, I truly treasured the opportunity to dine in this cozy restaurant that delivered first class service. The duck preparation was delicious; the only thing better was the service- our waiter was excellent and Julio made us feel like we were the owners of Paolettis. His attention to detail was phenomenal. Our gratitude to Julio for making this special weekend even more special. Thanks Julio and the wonderful waiter we had on that Saturday- April 27th. God willing, we hope to see you this summer. Bob Franco- Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla

“Wow!”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Great time! The staff is great. They know their stuff. Meals were outstanding as was the service. Has the feeling of an traditional Italian eatery- but with a modern menu.

“Wonderful - Sort Of A New York Feel In Authentic Italian”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

This is a truly lovely, friendly, very authentic Italian dining spot prominently positioned on the most wonderful block of the Highlands' downtown area - directly across from The Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Can't get a much better location than that. When you enter, you see a long bar area, one or two booths and the rest small tables. Interesting artwork grouped on all walls in addition to European feeling decor throughout. Our waitress was friendly but professional. The food was wonderful - presented simply yet elegantly. Overall, just perfect. Can't wait to return next time in Highlands.

“Timing doesn't matter”
Reviewed May 3, 2013

We came to the mountains early this year. It doesn't really matter the timing, for Paoletti's was fabulous. The menu selection was ample, and the food was delicious. The presentation met our expectations and the service was wonderful.
Despite that it is early up here in North Carolina the restaurant was filled. It certainly shows how many people like dining at Paoletti's.
Everything was delicious and we were very glad to be celebrating a special occasion at Paolett's.
Make a reservation and enjoy!

“A Highland High Point”
Reviewed April 29, 2013

The food was exceptional. The service, unbelievable. But the cocktails. WOW! Try the basil-vodka cocktail infused with homemade lemon sorbet. All it needed was a porch and some rocking chairs. So fun. What a great night.
