When we visit Hendersonville we always like to stop in at Blackberry Mountain Cafe. Our waitress (Michelle) is kind and welcoming with a smile and ready to make us feel at home. The food is good and the prices are reasonable. I'd like to go back sometime for lunch or stop in for dessert since it all looks so good!

I have been here twice now. The service has been great both times as well as the food. They have a very large menu and seem to always have a different sort of pie or soup that they are offering. I really like that you can get your own coffee instead of having to wait on the server. They have coffee set up and a shelf full of all different kinds of mugs and about 4 different types of coffee. If you order coffee, all you have to do is go over to the shelf, pick out whichever mug strikes your fancy, and do the same with the coffee. They have creamer and sugar available as well. The servers have been very nice both times. And the food great! Oh, and the prices are very good.

While I've lived in this area for over 2-years and have driven by the Blackberry Mountain Cafe many times, it was only recently that I decided to stop in and try their breakfast menu.

The Cafe is in a small, older building, but as soon as you enter the door, you feel like you've come home. The charm and friendliness of Blackberry are evident, and it's not designed to be fancy, just comfort foods at very reasonable prices.

Almost any breakfast combination you want is available, and the bottomless coffee cup - yes it's self-serve - offers at least 4-wonderful choices of freshly brewed coffees.

The decor is a throw-back to the 1950's & 60's in small restaurants and diners where signs and photos are on the wall. The cafe is very clean, including the restrooms, and the people who work their are typical of the friendly neighbors you'd expect to meet in a small town cafe.

I've enjoyed both breakfast and lunch at Blackberry, and can recommend it as a great, casual place to enjoy good food and break from the run of the mill or chain restaurants.

One night hubby and I didn't feel like cooking. We knew Blackberry Mountain did dinner on Wednesday and Thursday nights. We gave it a shot and we're pleasantly surprised. The meatloaf portion was beyond adequate and the sides were excellent. All for less than $25!! We will be eating dinner here again. Very friendly staff.

my friend and i stopped in for lunch on our way to the Elijah Mine (which is down the street and SO highly recommended!) She had the big reuben and crab bisque and thought it was very good. i had the grilled cheese and it was really good (large so i took half to go). the dessert menu looked very good but i was too full to try dessert. nice homey little place and there were a lot of people in there (probably locals), even being busy, people were nice, quiet and respectful (as i think they tend to be more in the south:). Cute place that you should check out if in the neighborhood.
