Lovely ambiance inside the restaurant; pleasant staff. The food is your average family-style Italian fare; served in plentiful portions, piping hot and decent flavor. Very reasonably priced. A good go-to restaurant for that night of the week when there's nothing in the refrigerator....

We moved into the area nearly a year ago and searched and searched for quality (New York-style) Italian food, which we finally found. My husband is Italian AND from Long Island, NY, which, needless to say, means he is extremely picky when it comes to Italian food and pizza. Anyhow, we've been eating at Iannucci's in Hendersonville for the past 6-8 months and LOVE their pizza and veal parm. We've not eaten anything else, so we can't comment on other menu items, but the veal is obviously pounded and is quality (no to little fat/gristle). The pizza is floppy thin (a must in NY) and has plenty of cheese, sauce, and toppings. Plus, the dough is great and the prices are very reasonable! We truly do love them both and would highly recommend either of these items to anyone. We will absolutely go back until the day they close. Thanks, Iannucci's for quality Italian food!

Maybe it's just our taste which is different? We want to like this small place, but always leave saying we didn't really enjoy the food as much as we would like. It seems to us they have Americanized their sauces so much they no linger have the richness of flavor we grew up with on the east coast. Red sauces are too sweet and the cream sauces too heavy for us. Mona Lisa is a better fit for us.

This is real southern Italian food prepared by a family that knows what they are doing. You get generous servings for a reasonable price. Everything we have tried has been good. We've had pizza, eggplant parmesiana, and calzones. Glad to see the expansion into Hendersonville, as there is also a location in Asheville.
