Had a delightful stay with friends...Cindy was the perfect hostess and the house is absolutely beautiful. Loved the rocking chairs on the wrap around porch! We stayed in the sage room and our friends stayed in the blue room. Pictures don't do justice! Each room is unique and beautifully decorated. Cindy will make you feel at home and a delicious breakfast is a guarantee. We will definitely return!

Elizabeth Leigh Inn exceeded my expections....it was such a gorgeous and quaint B & B. The Inn has a huge wrap around porch which is nice to relax in their rocking chairs. We stayed in the Rose Room: it was absolutely beautiful. Our bed was a very comfortable King size bed that provided a good night sleep. All 4 rooms at the Inn were gorgeous. The owners were so sweet and kind. When we arrived, they offered us a glass of wine or soda. They also welcomed us to their pantry which was stocked with snacks and candies. They even had home-made strawberry ice-cream which was quite delicious! The Inn is located close to downtown Hendersonville, walking distance. If you want to go to Asheville, it is a short drive approximately 30 minutes ago. We stayed for one evening but next time we will stay for 2 or 3. The entire experience at Elizabeth Leigh was Delightful! We highly recommend this B & B.

Room Tip: We loved the Rose Room which is located on the 1st floor.

This B & B is impeccable. Rooms are large with great bathrooms. Amenities include cake and nibbles, wines, some hard liquor, sodas, coffee etc. Beautiful porch- more than many B & Bs. It is located close to the center of town. This is an excellent high end B and B.

You never know what you are going to get when you stay at a B&B. The Elizabeth Leigh Inn met and exceeded our expectations on every level! We stayed at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn in June, 2011 for our 25th Anniversary. Everything about the Inn and the weekend was fabulous. The rooms are beautiful, the lovely king beds with luxurious linens are nice and comfortable, and best of all, the innkeepers are amazing. Mike and Cindy will make you feel as if the house belongs to you. They are warm, friendly, inviting, and so much fun to talk to. You can hang out in the kitchen and drink coffee with Cindy as she prepares a delicious breakfast, or sit outside and relax on the huge front porch which overlooks a quaint Hendersonville street. The Inn is beautifully restored and decorated. (fun to look at the album of before/after pictures) Cindy can tell you all about the history of the house if you are interested. (I was) The location is great. We walked to downtown Hendersonville for lunch and shopping. It was a really neat little town with lots of shops and many choices for lunch in cute restaurants. If shopping is not your thing, Cindy can direct you to beautiful hiking trails with picturesque waterfalls, or she can direct you to white water rafting. While our children hiked, my husband and I relaxed at the Inn and enjoyed in room massages set up by Cindy. Fabulous. All in all, it was a fun, relaxing weekend for both my husband and our four children. Even my hard to please teenage son loved it! If you plan on being near Hendersonville, NC, you must stay at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn. You won't regret it!

Room Tip: Four bedrooms, all with King beds and private bathrooms.

I spent three nights at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn recently visiting friends. The inn is extremely well maintained in all aspects - indoors and out. Since the weather was nice, we hung out on the veranda and the patio, but the home also has a couple of elegant dining/parlor rooms should you need common space when the weather is cold.

The suites themselves were quite large and beautifully furnished (I peeked into two others besides mine). The bathrooms were spotless and fixtures were new (assuming all bathrooms were like mine).

Mike and Cindy, the owners, were very warm and accommodating people and Cindy's breakfasts are really good. I appreciated the wireless internet access and the wine bar.

The parking in the rear can be a little tight if the home is full. Backing into your space may prove helpful if the parking area fills up later.

I highly recommend this place. It's fairly close to downtown - so whether you walk or drive, the "restaurant district" is close by.

Room Tip: Some rooms have fireplaces.

The home is gorgeous and everything from the linens to the delicous breakfast and goodies that you help yourself to anytime were wonderful.
The owners are so friendly and warm and the town is so quaint.
You need to go up early if you want to do some shopping in the cute little gift shops b/c they close early. There are some great resturants within walking distance.
We went to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary and it was just wonderful.

We recently had a leadership meeting for our company at the Elizabeth Leigh Inn in Hendersonville, NC. It is a small town in the Smokey Mountains south of Asheville. It was a great experience and in all my years of business meetings I don't recall a better one. Mike and Cindy Baer know how to put together a great event.

The Inn is a fully restored home built in the late 1800's. The restoration was done with a subtle blending of modern conveniences with elegant, historic architecture. The food was excellent.

Our meeting was a casual, laid back atmosphere, in elegant surroundings. We would move our meeting from the dining room, to the living room, to the large front porch as the mood struck us. Wifi connectivity made it easy. A conference room is being constructed on the lower level of the carriage house in the back yard.

For a great business meeting, or for a great get-away, I highly recommend the Elizabeth Leigh Inn in Hendersonville, NC.
