Traveling back to Asheville from Chimney Rock, the wife and I found this comfy little spot just off the beaten path. This vineyard offered tastings 6 for $10. I was surprised by the quality of wine. The two whites were dry, fresh and crisp, just as I like. And the four reds were bold to big, also just as I like. The atmosphere was warm with a décor of autumn color. Plenty of outside covered seating as well as a tasting bar inside.
Nice stop along the way.

We spent a lovely couple of hours tasting Burntshirts wines. Our server had a great sense of humor and was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and vineyard. They have a cafe there though that I would not recommend. Very expensive for what we were served and not all that tasty.

We visited here in October 2018 and it was a beautiful place. We actually saw a sign for here while driving to an Apple Orchard in Hendersonville, NC. This place was beautiful. We sat outside in the front area and looked across at the orchards with a white cross. The wine was nice and the atmosphere wonderful. I would recommend. This is also a wedding venue.

We were pleasantly surprised to find gorgeous views of vineyards and enjoyed walking around the grounds with 2 year old grandson while daughter and son in law enjoyed the wine tasting and outdoor fire pit.

We accidentally fell upon the Chimney Rock tasting room/restaurant. The food was amazing! They were very busy so service was a bit slow. But it was worth it! After lunch we did a tasting. Our sommelier was wonderful, I can’t remember her name, but she was Canadian. We wound up buying 2 bottles of wine-Apple wine and a Chardonnay. It was a family friendly place if your kids have patience.

Great wine, great atmosphere, personable staff! Your loss if you don’t stop here while in the area. Lots of places to sit outside or inside to enjoy some wine. Reasonably priced wine and the staff goes out of their way to make you feel welcome.

We went on a Sunday, a beautiful day and what a treat to be at this vineyard! It has tasting areas set up. They had a guitar player playing good music. We were charmed by the several areas they had set up where one could be comfortable, enjoying the views. People were sitting around the fire pit, some standing by the gazebo, others sitting on the terrace. Very peaceful, it was hard to leave. There was a large tasting room, but you can also stand at the bar at the small store. Children were playing by the rocks, They have several shaded picnic tables set up. Knock-out roses in full bloom, areas nicely planted, an apple orchard close to the entrance, loaded with apples. Vineyard and mountain view. We went with a group and were totally charmed, several mentioned it would be a perfect setting for a wedding. We didn't eat there, but they had a food truck on premises.

Worth the drive down from Asheville, we did their sampling and ended up buying 2 bottles of seasonal wines and 2 of their Estate Cab. Also enjoyed walking around the garden outside as we went during the week we had most of the property to ourselves. Cool location and great, knowledgeable staff. Would definitely go back

There is a tour of the winery with a very informative guide. The wine tasting was interesting. The setting is spectacular with a covered patio for sipping your wine and a food truck is available for a meal if you want. We order the cheese board for one and find it is enough for four to enjoy with a mid afternoon glass of wine.
