The hot bar in the back where you order from has great food for lunch! I will complain that one time I ordered the short ribs and they were tough and full of fat. Besides that all of the meals I have ate there have been awesome!

Really unique and different sandwiches and sides to order. Eating available outside when weather is nice. Shop is small but have everything you need.

This is one of the few (if not only) cafes in Hendersonville serving local organic and natural food that is affordably priced. Very casual, limited seating is available inside grocery store and at outside tables. Chef has a very special talent for preparing unique dishes that are fresh, delicious, and good for you, too! The menu features something different each day and also keeps the regular favorites. My favorite is the Thai Tuna Burger along side the Alpha-Omega salad both from the deli case. Choose individual items from the deli case to create a dine-in or carry-out meal or select one of the day's features. You can see daily menus at their website www.hendersonville.coop. It's easy to overlook the co-op when you're thinking about dining out for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, but if you remember you'll be glad you did!

We stopped at the Coop to buy groceries and noticed that folks were sitting outside at tables eating some good looking meals. Inside we found two ways to have dinner- there was an area with packaged take out meals in plastic containers, and also a glass deli case with numerous good looking options which looked freshly made. We opted for a selection from the glass case. The clerk weighed them, heated them in a microwave on plates, and in under five minutes we had an excellent dinner. Apparently if we had come at lunchtime, we could have had food already hot and ready to go, but reheated was fine. We had massaged kale, cheese frittata, meatloaf, a grain side, and some other things. All very good, and the bill was surprisingly low. You can eat inside at tables, where you will find a water cooler and utensils. We were given labels and used them to pay when we bought our groceries.
