“Warm and Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2011

You are surrounded by books and a beautiful collection of teapots on one side and the other half of the restaurant is a wine & beer bar for lunch and dinner.
We enjoyed a coffee and black currant ice tea w/ a touch of brown sugar. Delicious. We sample a dessert right out of the over raspberry/white chocolate. Melt in your mouth very large need 2 to eat it. Will try lunch soon. Service is very good. It is located in the historic downtown of Greenville surrounded by very nice specialty stores. Worth a trip for a nice afternoon or evening.

“Proper Tea”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 18, 2011

Whether you're looking for a quiet place to rest, read, or eat, Tipsy Teapot has you covered just as well as your teapot is delivered to your seat with a cozy to keep the water hot!

This has all the normal things for "tea" that Americans would expect from sweet to savory. However it's the only place I've found close by with clotted cream and marmite.

The atmosphere is so pleasant it's a little like being wrapped in your own personal tea cozy. The art on the walls is interesting too. My favorite selection in the morning is a pot of Earl Grey with scones and clotted cream. Enjoy!

“Best - Freshest - Wonderfully Delicious”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 24, 2011

The food at Tipsy Teapot is always amazing... The food is extremely fresh and Delia truly tries to keep her food healthy. Her brunch is amazing, as well as, her desserts and tea/coffees too. LOVE THIS PLACE!

“Best little teahouse/coffee joint/bar ever!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 16, 2011

We were in Greenville to play a concert which was presented at the Tipsy Teapot. We ate lunch before the concert and I had the best sandwich I've had in a long time. Havarti, pear slices, walnut bits, sliced black olives on toasted bread. The combination of flavors was fabulous. The ambience is perfect for a place like this - something every town needs. Shelves of books for sale and casual reading line the shelves, comfortable chairs and sofas fill the space without creating a claustrophobic feel. The only thing I missed was expresso drinks, but the range of teas is impressive, and just plain coffee is available. The other half of the building is the tipsy half, with a wide, welcoming bar in the back. Chairs for our audience filled the rest of that space so I don't know what it usually looks like. The posters on the walls indicate that the Tipsy Teapot is a community gathering place. What luxury to have a place like this with the space to host a concert and community groups, with the assurance of good food and beverage crafted and served with care and love. Greenville is lucky to have this place. I look forward to future trips there so I can revisit the Tipsy Teapot.
