Stayed here last night with my husband and son while we looked for my son an apartment in Greenville for next school year. The hotel has been remodeled and updated. Really liked the stand alone shower in the bath. Used points for our stay do can't comment on price. Will stay here again when in Greenville.

We spent Thanksgiving night at the Courtyard by Marriott in Greenville. The property was very clean and well-kept and the pool was great fun for our family. The best part was the staff. They were very friendly, accommodating, and helpful in getting us whatever we needed. We had a great stay and will definitely return when we need a place to stay in Greenville!

We have stayed at a number of hotels in Greenville. Two of my sons had attended ECU and that has allowed us to visit during all the seasons. This CY was a first for us and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. We were in the new section so everything was clean and fresh. There was adequate parking. There was a relaxed feel to the hotel and our room was quiet. You get what you pay for so I feel the cost was reasonable for this day and age. It would have been nice if a free breakfast was included as many of the other hotels now offer.

My husband was unexpectedly transferred to Vidant Hospital across the street for a heart catherization and myself and two kids needed a clean, safe place to spend the night at 9 pm on a Thursday. The front desk clerk, I wish I could remember her name, was so sweet and personable. She asked if we were there visiting the hospital, asked how my husband was doing and told me about her grandmother who had surgery at the same hospital for her heart with great results. It made the whole experience very personal. The room was spacious and well decorated, the shower was enormous, the beds very comfortable. We didn't partake in the breakfast but we did see the pool and it looked small but nice, if we weren't there for an "emergency" we would've used the pool. This is not a cheap place, but it made us feel safe, warm and comfortable on a cold rainy night full of unexpected events. Would highly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here one night and then two nights at less expensive Quality Inn down the street. CY was twice the price, and then I got the privilege of paying twice the price for breakfast. Sure, CY has an indoor pool, the rooms at CY were a bit nicer, and the hotel a bit quieter, but QI was clean, comfortable, and the low-end breakfast was free. Price isn't everything, but CY is too high for what you get.

We have tried most hotels in Greenville. The old Courtyard was tired and seemed to have gone down some; so we started staying at the Hampton Inn. But after a couple of less than average experiences at the G'ville Hampton, we tried Courtyard again. Wow! What a change. They have remodeled with their new decor, deli, rooms, etc. This is now our choice when we are in Greenville. Eventhough we now pay for our breakfast, you get large portions of good food for a reasonable price. The free breakfast we use to get at the other place was a joke.

Room Tip: Ask for one of their new rooms.

Had a great three day visit. Staff could not have been more accommodating. Room (I love the new "touch the key to lock and opens, don't need to insert) was very nice, quiet despite ground floor, front desk handled a large school group (?basketball team?) quickly and well. Pool is standard Courtyard. No free breakfast was a disappointment, but becoming standard apparently. Parking was plentiful.
