My husband and I spent a couple nights here last month and by the time we left we were planning our next visit. The place is definitely off the beaten path - sits on the New River and we were able to attend the New River Blues Festival which was held on the property of River House right by the water. The Inn is so charming and each room is uniquely adorned - nothing fancy but so quaint and relaxing. No TV - but a nice big bathtub with candles! There is an artist who creates pottery and his gallery is part of the inn - we bought several pieces to bring home for us and as gifts for family. The restaurant is AMAZING! Excellent food and service. Very intimate. Full bar at the inn and full breakfast in the restaurant. We will definitely be back!
