Everything was very good including the breakfast area. But would like to know when they are going to complete the upgrades on the rooms and conference rooms? But the stay was very very good. The staff was exceptional. Would come back to the Hampton Inn in Goldsboro NC.

Friendly, Clean, and priced RIGHT ! in process of UPGRADING hotel (3rd floor). Close to resturants and shopping. Breakfast was very good in selection. I would recommend this hotel for your stay. Easy to locate off major hi-way

The Staff here is great. Housekeeping does a good job. Breakfast was ok. NO PROBLEMS. The Inn is next to an active train track but i did not hear any noice at night, This was a good place to stay for groups.

We stopped here in the wee hours of December 30th after a long drive on our way to the coast after seeing the reviews on trip advisor. The night staff person was very friendly and the king room was so nice! Granite tops in the bathroom, lots of water pressure, clean, a note indicated that they change the duvet cover for each guest! The bed and pillows were comfortable and the wifi easy to access. We were impressed by the elaborate breakfast offered and enjoyed it. Staff members were very friendly greeting us in the hallway/elevator and offering assistance. Loved our stay here and will stay again. The price was fair compared to lesser hotels that cost more on this route. *Be advised that there was a lady trolling the parking lot at 1:00 am asking for money, saying that she left her purse in New Bern and was on the way to visit someone in the hospital in Rocky Mount. We've noticed this or a similar scam throughout our recent trips through NC and VA.

parking lot was being re-sealed, but at the right time of year. other rooms were being upgraded in furniture, but it did not hamper our stay nor cleanliness of room, hallway, etc. fitness room equipment all in working order. Breakfast items all top notch, although they did run out of waffle mix about 30 minutes prior to the end of serving time. Nice Applebees restaurant next door, walked to dinner. Walmart and a nice shopping plaza across the street. one downer: active railroad crossing about 200 yards from hotel, but trains stopped well before 10 PM, and did not wake us too early Sat AM. highly recommend for business or family.

I always try to stay at a Hilton or Hampton, the only recommendation I have is to put in temporary carpet while under construction, due to no carpet we could hear doors slamming when ever some one entered or left a room in the hall. Other than that it was great, the staff is very friendly, I loved the front desk lady, she was very helpful when my TV remote stopped working.

best hotel in area by far. staff and management go the extra mile all day, every day. especially for biz travel or when you want to find a go to place to come back to often this is the best. convenient to highway, lots of eating options very nearby.
