“Service and meal were very good”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

Traveling through Gastonia to Charlotte and was in the mood for Italian. We decided on Olive Garden ans was surprised to see how busy it was on a Thursday night at 7:15. We were seated within 5 to 7 minutes and were greeted by our waitress within about 6 or so minutes. She was very pleasant and helpful on our meal choice. We had the three course meal and were pleasantly surprised on how good it was. The bread was hot out of the oven and the salad was very fresh. The chicken dish (which name escapes me) was really good. The chicken was on a bed of spinach with a side of risotto and a wine reduction sauce YUMMY! Let's not forget the mousse cake which we had to take with us, but later when we were less stuffed was wonderful. The meal was great for the price.

“Service was great, the food was not so good!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 23, 2013

The main courses were good, the salad was missing a lot, basically it was just iceberg lettuce with 2 tiny slices of tomato, it barely had any salad dressing on it. Breadsticks were dry and had no taste, the mozzarella sticks breaking had an odd taste to them.

The chocolate mousse like cake was tasty. Our waiter was very good.

“Good Soup&Salad”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

Most every visit to the Olive Garden has been a pleasant one. Most of the time my sister and myself stop in for lunch (soup&salad) on saturday's after shopping. The other food is great if you want a more rewarding meal. The service is always pretty fast unless you go at the busiest time which is at lunch. Also, the price is reasonable.

“Horrible.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 17, 2012 via mobile

Waited for one hour during the slow hours. My son"s birthday party was to be there and it was just embarrassing. People were seated who walked in the door. I would have hated to have been there during the the busy hours. Stay away.

“Never had a problem, until this visit.”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 30, 2012 via mobile

My wife and I have visited this location many times in the past. However on Saturday Sept 28, 2011 it was a different story. We visited this Olive Garden for lunch and the food as always was great. So just to let you know there is no problem with the food. Where the problem was is the service we had received. We were sat by the bar and the bartender Mary was our server. She got our order and quickly brought it to our table. But when we ordered a refill on the soup we were promptly told that she was very busy and gave us the impression that our business wasn't appreciated. So we were able to speak with Sabrina the training manager who immediately took care of the problem. So I guess here it is in short. Don't let yourself be say by the bar at a table and have the bartender serve you. Ask for another table, we will. Oh, just to mention Sabrina did give us a gift card for our server's attitude. We will return again.
