Quarterdeck Restaurant
Ranked #5 of 6 Restaurants in Frisco
Price range: $5 - $35
Cuisines: Seafood
Description: Due to renovations from Hurricane Matthew we will be reopening Thursday June 22nd at 5pm with a new view! A Family Style Seafood and Steak Restaurant that originated as The Old Lighthouse Restaurant in 1963, and moved to the current location as the Quarterdeck Restaurant in 1978, the Quarterdeck has been proudly serving the local island community for over 50 years. This locally owned, casual dining, family-oriented restaurant has been completely renovated after the effects of Hurricane Matthew by the family, and although it is the same great cuisine everyone is accustomed to, the whole building has a new fresh feel. Nostalgia meets new views. The building now boasts a beautiful sound side view, and the business now takes reservations; the Quarterdeck still specializes in seafood (try the crab cakes and stuffed flounder), char-grilled steaks, and homemade desserts. You may also enjoy a refreshment at their full-service bar, or have your lunch outside in the new outdoor seating areas. The Quarterdeck is open every day but Wednesday for dinner, 5:00-9:00 in season. For off season events or bookings please call.

“Go every trip!”
Reviewed June 7, 2012

Go to the Outer Banks every year at least once. When we stay in the Frisco, Hatteras area we always eat dinner here the first night we arrive. Good portions, tasty fish! A bit high, but not out of line with all the other restaurants in the area.

“I would return!”
Reviewed May 23, 2012

We didn't like the mandatory extra charge if we had 3 checks. We combined our check to avoid that charge. All restaurants in the area didnt charge the extra so wondered about that "policy". Otherwise, food was good and the pie was especially good. We did recommend it to others in our party.

“Pies”
Reviewed April 4, 2012

Picked up a couple pieces of pie here a couple nights ago. They were pricey, $10.XX for two pieces of pie is a bit steep. The meringue on top of the chocolate cream pie was fantastic and my wife's pecan pie was DEFINITELY the star of their pie list.

“nice older restaurant”
Reviewed January 25, 2012

Been there forever! But, a good standby if you want some good seafood. Some people swear by it, I just say it's decent.
