“Great food always and great family atmosphere!”

You can't beat the price of this home cooked type food in a family friendly atmosphere. Like being at a relatives home for dinner or breakfast:)

“Down Home Cooking-”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 31, 2013

Breakfast is terrific at this simple family owned diner- enjoyed the no frills and friendly waitresses. Large menu that is so typical of Greek owners and unique in our little neck of the woods.
After sampling dinner I most recommend a vegetable plate as their sides are yummy down home cooking and most like the: sweet potato casserole (OUT of this world!), mac and cheese, friend okra, fried squash, collard greens (tough to pull-off and they do it right).
Week-end Prime Rib is very good and reasonably priced.

“Standard Southern Fare”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 27, 2013

An older relative chose this restaurant for supper, and I can understand why he likes it - it's basically a southern home-cooking diner. The interior is plainly decorated and a little crowded. The menu is limited, and most of the choices are good southern standards. My wife enjoyed the roasted turkey with mashed potatoes; my fried trout fillet was tasty, but my sides of turnip greens and black-eyed peas (billed as "Crowder peas") were overcooked and not very flavorful.

The menu DOES list a "Greek salad" and "gyro", but those were the only indicators of a "Greek" identity, other than the name.

“Dillsboro visit”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2013

This is a quaint, family type Greek American Restaurant. It's the 2nd time we visited. 1st time was last year when we took the scenic train ride trip which started in Bryson City & stops in Dillsboro. You have about 45 min's for lunch and they are wonderful at accommodating you. They offer a large menu of choices; large greek salad is delish and plenty enough for two hearty eaters. Food is very good, wait staff are personable and quick. Great desserts to purchase to take home (slices of carrot cake, French silk pie, rice pudding, etc.) Very much worth trying! We will eat there each time we visit Asheville!!!!!
