“Friendly staff, old rooms and bad microwavable breakfast”
Reviewed November 5, 2013

The Hampton website correctly shows the property as 2 story without elevator and only outside access rooms. As a HHonors Diamond guest I had reserved a non-smoking king room but upon arrival "someone" had and put me in a smoking room by mistake. The only other non-smoking room they had was a bit run down queen sized bed but workable and the check in lady did apologize for the error. The breakfast was just plain bad with the only hot items available being of the microwavable variety which may be a NC state health limitation due to a small kitchen or preparation area. Either way the property really needs to upgrade or rebuild.

This hotel is one of the old style with outside access to the rooms. I like these hotels. Hampton is always great. We've had some we think our extra special but we have never stayed in one we didn't like. There point system is great. This hotel was on our way to Florida and we only spent one night. It was 10,000 point which surprised me. Usually the points are 25,000 to 30,000. The staff is always friendly. Free breakfast is a plus. It saves time when traveling and helps us eat healthier options. I always choose Hampton. Our vacations have been more fun since we don't have to worry about what our hotel rooms will be like.

Clean, comfortable, everything works, and the staff are friendly. Breakfast was very good. Lots of parking. Close to Interstate. Quiet. As always, Hampton has, in it's category, the most comfortable beds in the business.

This is almost the halfway point between PA and Florida so we are always looking forr someplace place close to 95. Since we are Hilton Honor members, we always look for a Hilton property. We stayed here on Oct. 21 because it was offering a special deal. We were very happy with the accomodations, the price and the room. The breakfast was great. This has now become our stop off point on our trips south in the future.

Room Tip: First floor rooms are great if you have luggage.

Facility is old but well maintained, and conveniently close to I-95. It won't appeal to those put off by an outside room entrance. We requested a second floor room and needed a wake up call. Front desk staff openly tried to be helpful and pleasant. Breakfast was typical for Hampton Inns.

We stopped at this Hampton Inn (Fayetteville-i-95) believing that it was a typical Hampton Inn. As others have mentioned, it is not a standard HI, but rather a converted, former two level motel. The front desk staff were pleasant. It was late at night, so chattiness, hotel amenities description and directions, etc., weren't necessary, so we had an easy check-in. Our room was on the bottom level. Although decently clean, the room was quite outdated and worn. It was nice to have a microwave and mini-fridge, however the fridge cycled on and off quite loudly all night long. The mattress was ok, not up to the usual HI standard. There were six pillows, 'tho we had brought our own. Next door to this hotel is a closed family-style restaurant. Apparently, motorcycle enthusiasts use this parking lot as a gathering area in the early hours of the morning. The noise was terrible. After a few hours, they dispersed, but we were left exhausted. The breakfast was more typical of HI, with the pleasant addition of pre-packaged breakfast sandwiches. They weren't bad! I am not sure that, unless we were very tired from driving and the Doubletree across the street was sold out, we would return here. It wasn't awful...it's just that there are much better hotels nearby.

Everything about as expected, slightly run down but trying to keep it up. Price seems high for this area and I expect that other deals can be had in the immediate area. We chose this hotel for it's convenience to I95 for an overfight stay between West Oalm Beach FL and Philadelphia.
