“Hit or miss, but mostly hit”

Wonderful Indian food, but get there early unless you want to eat off the buffet. Chana's Marsala is delicious, naan is wonderful. But get there close to opening, otherwise they might only have buffet and Pita naan. You can order food child mild, medium or spicy. Medium is perfect. I did look at the buffet, but didn't see anything I was dying to eat. Haven't eaten a ton of Indian food, so prefer to eat off the menu to know what I am getting.was surprised that at about 1 pm, you had to even ask about ordering off the menu, but probably since it is a small place, this is what works for them. Did really enjoy the food, but would say for someone just trying it out for the first time, get there early for lunch!

“Get your spicy Indian on....”
Reviewed November 14, 2012

One of the best Mom and Pop restaurants in Fayetteville/Raleigh area! I've been eating here every couple weeks for years now and absolutely love the food. However, l'm beginning to think I may have developed an addiction to the food. In fact, if I go for more than 2 weeks, I start to get irritable and restless for some Bistro buffet. Ha. One forewarning though, if your idea of a lunch buffet consists of 100 selections like some of the various chinese buffets in town, you may be disappointed upon arrival. Don't fret though. Unlike the Chinese buffets, you won't have to search and search for something that is truly tasty. And as you're waddling out the door, you'll realize how much those grand buffets really suck. Ha. Oh, almost forgot. For the beer lovers out there, the owner has quite an esoteric beer selection. If you want to try a great beer you've never heard of before, this is the place. Overall, Bombay Bistro is just good eats. 'nuff said.

“Best Indian food in Fayetteville”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

A very small lunch buffet delivers a nice variety and great flavors. The only reason for the 4 stars on food is that the food was exceptionally spicy today and made it hard to fully enjoy.

“Great service, good Indian food”
Reviewed August 30, 2012

We went to the Bombay based on recommedations on Trip Advisor and we were very pleased. The service was fast and friendly. We are novices to Indian food so we asked our server for recommendations and were pleased with what he suggested.
I would definately go back.

Unreal to find a Family run!!!! India dining experience in Fayetteville NC. You can tell the Chef is in LOVE with cooking! The Love she shows in every dish is AMAZING! I often bring in 6 to 8 friends and we spend several hours’ tasting unbelievable dishes and also amazing Beers from all over the world! I wished they would dim the lights and add candles and fresh flowers on the tables at night. We have been going here since day one of their opening and still are in AWE over the food and service. We love family owned venues and will always support them when given the choice.
