“A different way to get in some physical fitness”
Reviewed January 19, 2013

My husband and I went to RedPoint this morning. I called yesterday and asked how everything worked. They were quite funny on the phone, but gave me all the information I needed. We went in at 11:30 this morning for a Belay class and to climb. We paid $20 each for shoes, harness, belay class (free) and unlimited climbing for the day. You watch a short video and then they take you out and you get hands on practice. You learn two different types of not and what to do as a belay.

The gym was big enough that there was always somewhere to climb. We were able to climb in several different parts at an easier level. But there were different levels all over the gym. They also have the boulder climbing. Several people were enjoying it,.... I just don't have the strength.

We were there several hours and left happy and tired. It was quite a workout but lots of fun.

There were small kids there for a birthday party and with families. And they all seemed to be enjoying themselves too. Great for the whole family.

“Red Point MMA, Crossfit, and Climbing”
Reviewed September 30, 2012

This is a place of solace in a town with few physical activities. The facility is clean, well equipped, and littered with quasi-comical signs. The routes for climbing are clearly marked and well designed by an experienced climber. The staff is friendly and helpful when discussing equipment, but the musical selection varies between them. I much prefer when the taller blond gent is working and playing DJ.
