A little hard to find if you are not familiar with Ft Bragg. Great museum store and movie plus you walk through the conflicts the 82nd has taken part in. Great volunteers.

I liked the fact that as a civilian I was able to go on base and visit. I didn't realize how far back the 82nd Division goes and has been around to help defend the USA.

Outdoor display of various aircraft and mechanized vehicles. These are interesting but have definitely suffered from neglect and time in the sun. Museum was well done with displays and information about the 82nd's actions since inception. Definitely worth visiting.

There are some pretty nifty exhibits at this small museum beginning with World War I. We especially liked the fox hole exhibit depicting what it would have been like to actually be fighting in a battle. Unfortunately this was the only action exhibit. The movie is well done and we were lucky to find ourselves in the middle of a new recruit training session. However, it was a very long ride for us and we felt the experience was not worth the trip.

I heard the Airborne and Special Operations Museum is much better for children. We learned on Trip Advisor that it is closed. There is a sign at the entrance to Ft. Bragg, but that's a little late!
