On our family road trip down to Florida, we stopped to have lunch and a car-break in Fayetteville. We came across the Botanical Garden and we were not disappointed. With my 3 kids under 7 and my mom, we strolled around the gardens and enjoyed such natural beauty.

The entry fee was very reasonable, even more so when you belong to a Botanical garden that may give you reciprocity to other places at discounted pricing. Always ask!!

Great to stretch out the legs and enjoy some pretty views. Spend whatever amount of time you'd like, every minute is worth it.

My 3 kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt and the Children's play areas.

The Botanical Gardens are located in a quite spot just outside downtown Fayetteville. We were surprised that they were so vast and you couldn't hear any traffic. It was bigger than we expected and very beautiful. There were lots of walking paths and places to stop and look and see the river. There were walkways, but they were not paved, if you have small children and use a stroller the wheels of a jogging stroller would be better for your little one. That's what we had, and it wasn't a problem.

The day was beautiful and there were so many plants and flowers to look at. You can tell that they take such great care of the area. It would be a nice place to bring family who is visiting if you wanted to get out of the house for a bit.

This is an excellent place to spend a nice afternoon. The wide varieties of plants as well as the small village they have there makes for a very nice day to get out of the house and away from the TV.

The Botanical Garden is a beautiful and interesting place for walks...just maybe not in the incredible heat of Fayetteville's midsummer
