We stopped in for a night on our way to Florida and again on our way back. Overall we had a very good experience, and the price was quite reasonable. Very easy to get to from the highway. Staff were very welcoming, efficient and effusively friendly (maybe a bit over the top). On our first visit we had a very quiet room facing north over the parking lot. This turned out to be much better than our return trip, when our east-facing room overlooked a roof and air conditioning equipment, but with some nice trees beyond which compensated somewhat. There was some noise from the Interstate -- not too bad but a consideration if you are bothered by that kind of thing.
Our rooms were both very comfortable and spacious and the beds excellent. On our second visit the small fridge in the room was noisy. This is a pretty common experience for me, and a sometimes downside of having a fridge in the room. What I do, if I don't have stuff that I need to keep cold, is unplug the fridge and prop the door open, then plug it back in the next morning. Sometimes it is the only solution. It depends on how sound a sleeper you are, and whether you are bothered by fridge noises.

The hotel sits among a few other highway hotels. There is a bar and restaurant in the hotel, which we used only for the breakfast, which we found very good, and good value when we used the ten percent discount they gave us at the desk. We also found three restaurants close by. One is Ruby Tuesday, but it is across a four-lane road and to get there on foot you have to take your life in your hands. Or you could drive the hundred yards or so, which seemed a bit ridiculous. So we walked next door to Cracker Barrel, which was fine. There is also a Shoney's next door in the other direction but it looked a bit rundown. There is nowhere to walk, and nothing else around. It's a place to sleep and eat.
There is a convention centre in the hotel and if there is some event going on, this might affect your experience. It may be worth asking about this when you book.More
