AC does not cool upstairs. They are aware. Told me if they send AC repair out it will cost me money if not broken. This is in the contract you sign. They obviously have ongoing complaints about the upstairs AC. Lots of little things need repaired. Stove has two burners out, they cover with butcher block. Took off handle so you try to use it. Oven does not close. Could not figure out why things were not cooking like they should. Took us a day to figure out there are magnets to hold door shut. Kitchen door to outside has no handle. Can't use door. Upstairs door to outside handle comes off. I called rental company to make sure I was not charged with breaking things. Turns out owner is aware. Not fixing all the little things that matter. Unfortunate. Also, property line is very near back of house. Did not know that. Do not use his driveway or he will be at your door.
I just returned from a wedding weekend at Pine Hollow, and it was the perfect place to stay. It strikes that rare-balance of feeling completely secluded, while being close enough to the places you want to go. Great for large groups that want a place to relax, while being able to quickly get to places to hike, eat, and enjoy the area. The cabin was perfect place for the wedding as well. With the backdrop of the mountains, the pond next to us, and being surrounded by greenery, it was picturesque. The cabin itself was very nice and beautiful. Great for a large group in a varying age range. The amenities kept us with plenty to do when we had downtime, and plenty of room for everyone. The owners were very great and accommodating to us as well. I couldn't recommend this place enough.
