The food was pretty good, we had the specials and they were good but not the best. A bit pricey for a sports bar atmosphere that's just a
bit tired.

A worthy option in Emerald Isle. While our service was a little slow there was a table of 14 that had just sat down before us. We all had seafood and had plenty to take home in a box. In general, the staff worked hard almost as if they were the owners. Given the choices of places to eat in EI, this restaurant belongs on list - good service and plenty of good food.

Spent a week working in the area and chose to eat here twice. It is a little dark inside, has a very small bar area and short on TV's as compared to a lot of sports bars, but it has great food and good prices. We ate there on a Tuesday night and they were full around 6:00 but the staff was hustling to keep up and what I suspect was the owner was helping serve tables so there was no real wait for service. I had the trigger fish which was delicious and a huge bowl of what was supposed to be a cup of NE style clam chowder. No where near what you would get in Boston but it was OK. The taps at the bar had a few good Micro-brew offerings to go beyond the standard Bud, Miller lite, etc. All in all if you are in the area you could do a lot worse for dinner.

Have been here the last couple years when we vacation, but this year was horrible. We sat at the bar, bartender complained about how busy she was, but the place was far from full. Took forever to get our food. New England Clam Chowder was the worst, all I could taste was salt and bacon. I ordered wings, which weren't bad but were not hot (like they had sat around awhile). I will not be returning next year, that's for sure.
