My friend and I went here on the recommendations of several people both at the hotel where we stayed and a couple of business people in Elkin. Went there on a Wednesday for lunch. Warmly greeted, promptly offered drinks. We ordered the Blue Moon on tap and was told several minutes later that they were out of it but they recommended an alternative , which I can no longer name, and it was actually a better beer. We ordered a burger, medium well, a brisket sandwich with sauteed onions, and an order of fried dill pickles.
My burger was dry. Very dry, The fried pickles were so-so and served with a basic ranch dressing. The brisket was bland and needed a sauce of some sort but was fairly tasty.
The servers are great, very friendly and we were hungry so we didn't complain.
Overall not a place we would return to for the food but the atmosphere was good and the beer was great!
