“Nasher”
Reviewed March 27, 2014

Very nice art museum with diversified exhibits. Lunch on the terrace was very good. Only problem was the distance from the parking area to the museum.

“Delicious museum - and cafe!”
Reviewed March 8, 2014

The museum itself is small, manageable for a morning, and varied. The cafe is fabulous. So good it almost kept us from the exhibits. Sit outside if the weather cooperates. Small entrance fee unless it's the first weekend of the month (Bank of America account gets you in free) or you're a member of the military.

“Great exhibits”
Reviewed February 14, 2014

Went here to see the Doris Duke Shangri-la exhibit. A small museum with a fascinating permanent collection. Check out the quaint bookshop and cafe.

“Fantastic Exhibits!”
Reviewed January 5, 2014

I always enjoy going to the Nasher. It has beautiful architecture, fantastic exhibits and a wonderful, reasonably priced gift shop. They sometimes do receptions for the exhibits which are fun too! A must if you are in the Duke area.

“Go to the North Carolina Museum of Art”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

I am an art museum docent and make it a point to visit as many art museums that I can when I am traveling. I was so impressed with the quality of the North Carolina Museum of Art and so under impressed with the Nasher in terms of both it's temporary and permanent exhibits. That said, the quality of the food in the museum restaurant was outstanding.
