“Best Minor League Park in the Country”

Durham Bulls Athletic Park

Lived in FL and have been to many spring training and minor league games, but the home of the Bulls takes them all. Downtown Durham has done an amazing job making the middle-sized town into an eclectic place and the ballpark gave it a reason. It is clean, the people are friendly, the prices are reasonable, and the facilities are the best in AAA. A must fo if you are in the area.

This is a great venue for baseball lovers and non-sports lovers alike. This smaller field gives a more intimate setting providing you with the feeling of being right there in the game. My husband and I have only attended the last couple of innings of all the games we've been to. This is the best time to go, however, especially for the "freegans" out there! Gates open to the public at the bottom of the 7th... free seats!!! We have sat along 3rd base line just above the dugout every time to enjoy the end of several edge-of-your-seat games. We would suggest going when they have fireworks. Very cool, up close and personal view of pretty decent pyrotechnics!!!

While traveling to NC we stopped by for happy hour. Although there was not a game going on, the place was decently busy with families and couples getting great deals on food and drinks.

$3 burger, salad, popcorn shrimp etc and $15 pitchers on GOOD beer! Sam Adams is now on tap which is key for a new englander like myself.

Parking is free is in the small lot across the street. Need to go up stairs to get to the patio so fair warning.

Overall, great service and experience!

this place is awesome! had a real good time here and it is one of the best sports atmospheres i have been in. the footlong hot dogs are wonderful and the fans are into it. if you are a person who holds baseball high on your list of sacred events this is a shrine.
dont forget to get a Cheerwine!

Went to see the Durham Bulls on a July Friday evening as we were passing through Durham. Inexpensive tickets--not a bad seat in the house. New, clean stadium. Good family fun.

Stadium is in downtown Durham and appears to be part of a more comprehensive downtown development benefiting the community.
