I love to visit this park when I go to NC. I am surprised it is free to visit because it really is so beautiful. It is well maintained and has so many types of plants. It was nice to see all sorts of people enjoying it from young families to students to big groups and we even saw a bride having photos done. This is one of our favorite places to wander.

One of the best places to see in the area all year round. Combine it with a trip to the chapel and bookstore

The gardens have gotten a lot larger than when i saw them last some years ago. Or maybe i just didn't see all of the gardens when i was there before. Anyway, they are not to be missed when you go to Duke or Durham. Liked everything, disliked nothing.
Don't miss the newest section which houses some unusual breeds of chickens and also a vegetable garden.

Beautiful walking paths, well maintained, flowers galore! Loved the Asian Gardens and the lilly pond. Wish there were a few signs showing direction of parking lot, bathrooms, etc.

Not only did we enjoy our tour of the gardens, but the next day my son had his wedding in the garden and reception in the main building.
