Everything was in bloom and the garden cafe is open. A truly remarkable, tranquil experience.

Such a lovely retreat. Most of the year these Gardens abound with floral beauty. The pond has been rebuilt and offers a lovely setting for photos and a shady spot to and reflect. We had our son's wedding at the Gardens last summer. Although it was hot, the flowers were just gorgeous and it is well proportioned and manicured beautifully. There are carts that can take you around if you can't or don't want to walk.

Best part of Durham. Could walk around there all day. Lots of places to sit and relax. Calming and enchanting.

Lots of wedding photos happen here. It is a great place to spend the day with a quiet stroll. Can get busy on some days, making it difficult to find a quiet spot.

Beautiful, not-too-manicured gardens adjacent to the main part of Duke's west campus, open to the public. Includes many native plants.
