Reviewed December 20, 2012

We have been going here for years and my kids are never bored. You can spend a lot of time outside or inside exploring.

“Something for everyone”
Reviewed December 16, 2012

This interesting museum has a variety of exhibits, indoors and out. There is something for everyone to see and experience. Young children enjoy the inside explore area and the many outdoor places provide options to play and discover. I especially like the Butterfly House and outside trails, where there is a variety of fun things to explore, including the sail boats, Into the Mist, wild and farm animals and the dinosaur dig. The Santa train is a wonderful adventure for the holidays- the little ones loved the face painting and other activities, and the lights were exceptional!

“One of the best museums in the area”
Reviewed December 11, 2012

Really fun museum to visit, even as an adult. I could go here every year and not get tired of it. I enjoy the inside exhibits, but really enjoy the animals. If anything could be improved, it would be to make sure the inside exhibits are always functioning/maintained.

“Great place for kids and adults”
Reviewed December 7, 2012

I am retired and love to learn and take pictures. There are a zillion options for both at the Museum. Inside are a lot of bugs and weather exhibits and the like. There is also a great walking trail with many, many things to do. Kids groups can be loud so retirees may want to time their visits carefully.

“Would go more often if it was cheaper”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

We love this museum. It is great for kids of all ages. There is a large outdoor exhibit area with a park, mini-zoo, train and some new water and dinosaur exhibits. Then there is the butterfly house - always a hit and the main museum has a terrific area for younger kids as well as a number of exhibits for older kids covering everything from weather to space exploration. We often especially enjoy the rotating exhibit area. The last one we saw was on math and it even kept my teenager interested!
