“Best Sunday Brunch”
Reviewed August 21, 2012

Went there for Sunday Brunch and it was great. The place was crowded but the service was good and the food was excellent. Would have gave a better rating but the wait while worth it was long. They had a Blackberry pancake special with blackberry syrup that was great. The Mediterrean Omlette was good too.

That was my second time there for brunch and it will not be my last.

“Best pancakes, omelets, etc. in the Triangle area!”
Reviewed July 9, 2012

My wife and I try to get to Brigs at least twice a month. The food is top notch (BTW, the grits are perfect). Recently we were at a pancake house in SC, when my wife said "these pancakes don't come close to Brigs". One of my favorite dishes is the Blackberry Pancakes. The service is excellent, and they remember your favorites. Only downer: just too small. Long wait on Sunday morning. Try their omelets and scrambles as well!

“Friendly people, good food”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

Four of us went to Brigs for brunch on Sunday after church. It was my first time at a Brigs, and I was not disappointed. I had the Spanish Omelet - yummy! Others at the table had seafood omelets and veggie omelets, and all reported they were quite good. This is definitely a family restaurant. Not fancy, not pretentious. Good prices. Like most good eateries, they could stand to expand - there was a 20-minute wait. What amazed me was the friendliness of the people! Our waitress has worked for Brigs for 15 years, which says a lot. So yeah, go try Brigs! Oh... one caution... Brigs is only open 7AM to 3PM, so no dinner!

“One of my breakfast favorites”
Reviewed February 28, 2012

If you're on the south side of Durham and you want the best breakfast, this is the place. Lunch and dinner are OK too but lunch is crowded. Excellent food and service.

“Quick, inexpensive, and delicious - breakfast, brunch, and lunch”
Reviewed February 10, 2012

This is a small chain of restaurants, currently six in North Carolina, that consistently offers fast and friendly service, an outstanding menu variety, and always very fresh and flavorful food. The restaurants are generally open from about 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 pm (check for local specifics: www.brigs.com) and are great for dining alone, with a friend, or small business groups. Peak serving periods, especially lunchtime and weekends, can get crowded, but the wait is rarely more than 10-15 minutes.
