This Outback is always very busy, so either call ahead or be prepared for a wait. We eat here often as locals and always get the same great consistency and very good, friendly service. We generally sit in the bar area, but the times we have sat in the dining room, we get great service. If you like Outback, you will love this location.

They don't have the best steaks but for the money it hits the spot. We have, on occasion gotten a not so good steak, tough and flavorless, but that is very seldom. The overall menu offers enough choices without looking like a Greek Diner and when traveling with no guidance for places to stop I enjoy Outback. You know what you are getting and they usually deliver.

Just arrived in Durham, we needed a quick dinner and outback just hit the spot, great location off the 15 and 40 , with friendly and quick service... And best of all brilliant fried onion starter and fantastic stakes

I love the Outback ! the steaks are great, the beer as well. had a nice, caring waitress. Really enjoyed it there. The only drawback from my point of view are missing aussie specialities like alligator or kangaroo.

We came to this restaurant on this special night and were greatly disappointed. Both my wife and my steak was cool, tough, and chewy. My wife's baked potato was so cool that it would not melt the butter. Chopped salad is not the same, and not nearly as good. Very disappointed.
