When Taberna opened up, they didn't have a liquor license and Mateo was the restaurant getting all the buzz. Plus, the menu was really all over the place. In the months since, Taberna has brushed up. A few of the dishes are misses, but overall the food is really great - and authentic to Spain. If you passed by before, give it a shot now. It's worth it.
