It seems odd to be writing a review of a University but Duke has such an extraordinarily beautiful campus. The quads, the walkways, and the buildings are graceful and impressive, and it has one of the best student book stores of any school I've visited.

Perfect campus, manicured lawns, beautiful Gothic buildings including the Duke Chapel, right by the Hospital and Cameron Indoor Stadium. East Campus is near Main Street and many walkable areas, whereas West Campus is more enclosed.

I love everything about my school. The professors are the best - the students are bright and articulate AND engaged - the grounds are pristine - the space is magnificent.

The campus is HUGE. The gardens beautiful. The buildings feel as though you've stepped back in time. Lucky kids!

The botanical gardens are incredible. Definitely worth a trip. They are huge and complete with features and interesting landscape features--don't want to spoil the surprises. Then Chapel is amazing. There are four pipe organs; one has 6900 pipes. It was built in 1925 and has a bell tower with a caroline that plays for 15 minutes at 5pm. The interior is 250 ft tall with gothic ceilings and decorations, carvings and 800 stained glass windows.
