Description: Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the... We are Durham's oldest brewpub and THE local pasture-raised classic beef burger of Durham.

We ate here while on a gourmet food tour, so we just had 1/4 of the burger and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since. We were from out of town or I'd have been back already! Seth was great. He came out and talked to our group for a bit about the ingredients he uses and his meat. Really don't want to miss this place and the pizza place he is opening right behind this place is sure to be a hit as well!

The burgers are definitely worth the trip, but the beer selection makes this place great. A full range of "styles" there is a beer for everyone. In addition, most breweries don't appeal to wine drinkers, but at BCBB their is a wine contraption that made even my snootiest wine friends happy. The fried pickles are amazing!

The food is homemade and delicious with unique flavors! Prices are good and the wait staff the friendliest we have ever seen. They really make you feel welcome. It is a bit noisy, but the food is so good you don't mind it. They have homemade ice cream and the peanut butter ice cream with bacon and chocolate chunks was amazing. I had chili and my husband a burger and we will go back for another visit.

Everything is so fresh and tasty! If the local tomatoes are not looking good, they don't serve 'em. They keep their standards high and you have to appreciate it. The fry seasoning is amazing. Oh, and so is the beer ;-)

Excellent food and the service is great! Highly recomend this place for groups. A good option is to seat at the bar you have access to the full menu without getting in line.
