Description: Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the... We are Durham's oldest brewpub and THE local pasture-raised classic beef burger of Durham.

We love to try burgers in a new place. The meat was so flavorful and the duck frites were amazing. I always notice the buns at some burger places can't stand up to the toppings, but not at Bull City. Everything complimented each other. All I can say is "GREAT BURGER".

OMG!! The absulute best burger around, There is no better taste than pasture raised beef and the ratio of fat in the meat is so perfect that it melts in your mouth. The toppings are excellent and fresh too. I could not believe they had fresh Jalapenos and not them nasty picked ones. I also ordered the duck frittes based on a review and must say that they were not really anything to brag about, they were good though. The beers are the bomb as well, so all in all you will not be disappointed if you go there, in fact I guarantee you will return. The atmosphere is CLEAN and smells great!

A young, upscale crowd filled the restaurant but we only had a brief wait for a table. The burgers were great - best I've had in a long while. Microbrews were excellent. A fun evening!

Another build your own burger with tons of free choices and a few that cost extra. The patties were juicy and delicious, as were all of the additions. We didn't try the beer, but we did truly enjoy the Duck Frites. Cooked in duck fat, there were sublime -- probably the best fries (oops, frites) I'd ever eaten. The burger was fantastic, but the frites were out of this world...
