Description: Tobacco Road is not a sports bar. Brothers Brian, Alex and Rommie Amra share a passion for both sports and good food. Unfortunately, they found that their favorite places to watch the game were never the same as their favorite places to eat, and decided to remedy this for the people of the Triangle. As a result, the Amras are unwavering in their insistence that as much emphasis be placed on the menu as what’s on the 40+ HDTVs that surround guests in the Tobacco Road bar. For a quieter and more formal dining experience, guests can enjoy their meal in the main dining room or reserve Tobacco Road's private dining room for special events. Tobacco Road strives to provide its guests with: 1. Fresh, delicious food. 2. Exceptional service. 3. All that the sports fan could ask for.

The food is innovative and very well prepared. I love the unique venue overlooking the Durham baseball stadium. I can't wait to go back.

The hostesses were very rude, and it took thirty minutes for any server to come by. When a server did come she took the app and drink order and the food came out before the drinks!!! We split a burger for dinner and the meat was tasty! Sadly, that was the only decent thing about the dinner. I would say pass on this restaurant as the service was awful.

We visited this restaurant with another couple while we were in Durham. What a great find! TVs everywhere, a view over the baseball field and don't miss the row of reclining chairs! But that wasn't anything compared to the food! The menu was extensive and there were so many intriguing choices it was hard to choose! I'm convinced there are no wrong choices, everything was wonderful! Also the service was excellent! I wish we had this restaurant in our city!
