“The Crab Saute is the meal to get”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2012

The crab saute, which is only avaliable for a short time in the summer is the meal to order. It is the best crab dish we have ever had. Tnhe melon salad is outstanding as are the scollops. The deserts, especially the creme brulle and the pecan pie are special. They have a varied wine list with some nice selections.

“Overrated and they don't seem to know it.”

Self congratulatory and shoddy service. Main courses are good, but not nearly worth the exorbitant prices. This place needs a reality check.

“AWESOME!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 4, 2012

My wife go here quite a bit. The food is unique to the typical OBX fair and more upscale. If you are the opposite of the Capt George's type buffets this is not your place. If you love great food, this is your place.

“Good seafood”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

The restaurant is laid out like so many seaside eateries: noisy and jam-packed. But the service is really good and the quality of the food is above-average. It is a very popular place to eat at the Outer Banks. Even though our server was hustling, he took a lot of time with us and even gave my husband a free glass of wine that was the server's personal favorite (for free!) We really did have a good evening although I had my doubts when I first walked in. It is my second favorite place to eat at Duck (the Left Bank is really great!!)

“Unexpectedly amazing restaurant”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 2, 2012

I regrettably admit that I'm a foodie and have pretty high standards for food, but his place is wonderful. The food is always delicious and fresh. It's extremely busy on saturdays during the summer (when many new renters come) so try to make reservations! Definitely go!! There is not a better restaurant in duck.
