We have been going to Corolla for many years now and have meals from Steamers several times during our visits. The lobster and crab bisques are fantastic! Love the crab cakes and steamed clams too. Hush puppies are great, but the ribs are better over at Sooey's. Definitely try the key lime pie (my son wanted that for his birthday). The menu is available online and the order is always ready when they say it will be. If their were a Steamers near our house we would order from it every week. Try Steamers, you won't regret it!

Ordered take-out of crab, crab cakes, shrimp Caesar salad. The seafood was fresh and delicious. The restaurant itself was very clean and efficient.

Wow this was great!

We called ahead and were told our order would be ready to pick up in 30 minutes. This wasn't too bad considering the place was absolutely packed when we came to pick it up.

We got two steampots for 9 of us on our last night in the OBX. We had been thinking about a custom pot but it seemed pricier so we went with the Alaskan crab combo and the coastal blend. Both were full of fresh seafood and TONS of potatoes, onions and corn. The steampots were SO easy to make and came out great 20 minutes later. The pots came with butter, lemon and cocktail sauce. They also came with these awesome tools to cut right into the shell of the crab which made eating it so much easier.

We also ordered 3 lbs of the steamed spiced shrimp which was really good. I only wished we could have steamed it at home so we could have eaten everything together (we had to eat the shrimp first since it was ready when we picked it up).

Everything was super fresh and delicious. It was certainly pricy but it was fresh seafood. Also it was more than enough food with the sides that came with it so we could have probably ordered a little less. I'd say two of those pots and some shrimp would probably feed 10 people.

Overall I was happy with the experience and would come again! Loved the no mess clean up also (everything is disposable).

First time customers, we stood in line and noticed you ordered to go only! However, Steamers had an outdoor picnic area right there with 8 tables where you could stay and eat. People were having a great time! We ordered 1lb of steamed shrimp, a triple value crab cake/hush puppy/salad platter and a caesar oyster salad with two drinks and a key lime pie to split. The bill was under $60 and we were given a pager and told 30 minutes, 20 minutes later the beeper went off and we were eating. All portions were generous, well cooked, spiced well and FRESH! You could. Taste the difference. When do I get to go back!

After a morning of driving on the beach to Carova, we stopped in at Steamers for lunch and as always it was perfect. It's a favorite stop when we show out of town company the Outer Banks.
A big helllo from Linda as we walked in the door and then a nice menu explanation for our guest.

We went with the fresh flounder sandwiches while he chose the crab cake sandwich.

We sat out on the deck and enjoyed the view as our lunch was prepared. We weren't disappointed! Great fish and excellent slaw on the side.
