“The Brick Lighthouse”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

Out of the 4 lighthouses I saw in NC, this one kept the brick color and was not painted. I went off-season and could not climb. I am not sure why all these lighthouse have to close off-season. They all seemed crowded enough, and it is not like there is snow.

Currituck Beach Lighthouse is near Whalehouse Club, which is where we went after picture ops here.

It is worth the climb, a dazzling view! I apprehended climbed this lighthouse since I was carrying my child in a backpack but it was very feasible.

“Bring the Camera!”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

It's seven dollars a person to climb but you can see the grounds for free. Both are beautiful. You can stop and rest inside as much as you want. The views from the top are worth the climb. They have a gift shop and restrooms. They have an educational room on the first floor of the lighthouse.
