Absolutely great place for a great meal. Food was fresh and delicious. The wait staff was extremely polite and did not rush us through our meal even though it was late and during the off-season. I would highly recommend trying this restaurant for an inspired Italian meal.

We weren't expecting much from an Italian restaurant in a shopping center in a tourist area but were pleasantly surprised. The casaer salad and mushroom ravioli were excellent. The daily special of risotto with duck was great as well. All was great paired with the house chianti.

After an afternoon of sightseeing around the area of the Currituck Beach Lighthouse in Corolla we were looking for a bite to eat. Not everyone wanted the same thing for dinner so we settled on something everyone likes - Italian.

The food is average as is the service. We ordered two kids meals (pasta bowls that were overpriced and underwhelming with portions), one fried ravioli appetizer and one chicken parm dish. On top of this, we had 3 soft drinks and a water. The total bill, before tip, came to $72. Now, being on vacation, we do expect to pay a bit more, but not this much for what amounted to small portions and average food.

We made reservations on a Thursday evening at 7pm and arrived to excellent service by Peter. Can not flaw the waiter - he was great. Everyone (2 children; 3 adults) enjoyed the food. The penne lamb dish was good, but the lamb could have been more prevalent. The house risotto was tasty, but a little heavy on the pepper. The tile fish special was excellent. This restaurant was small, clean, not noisy, "fancy" without being overly so, and can definitely work for families with older children (ours are 11 and 12).

Our extended family of 6 had an 8pm reservation and were seated within minutes of our arrival. The dining room was small, but comfortable. Our waitress, Natasha, immediately introduced herself and filled our water glasses. She was friendly and attentive during the entire meal. We ordered several appetizers, including the daily special...pan fried duck egg. Everything looked and tasted great. Our meals were equally tasty, and ranged from chicken parmesan to carbonara to the special of the day...pork tortelachi. Desserts are all made in house, and were spectacular. The timing of the food service was also spot on. We were able to enjoy each course, but did not have to wait for the next. This was a great finale to a week at the beach!
